We are not currently looking for administrative positions. (Front desk, management)

When we are ready to do so we will only be looking for people who either have experience behind the chair, fully intend to move to behind the chair, or have extensive experience and knowledge of salon front desk management.

Stylists

We are not currently seeking out stylists but we are always accepting resumes and our door is always open for students to come shadow!

Our owner, Lydia has an extensive background in education and requires a preliminary skill check and training in the beginning of your time at Vivid. There will be weekly classes to attend and monthly progress checks to make sure that you’re fully equipped to offer all services that Vivid has to offer. The speed at which you will progress through training will be determined on your current skillset so we can focus on areas that need coaching and breeze through strong points. Moving up through our levels program is based solely on how busy you are once you’ve finished training. The interview process requires a period of time shadowing, assisting, and demoing a few services.
- If you’re an experienced stylist with existing clientele, you will most likely be ready to take on a Full Time Building Level position, take a short time to learn Vivid culture, systems, and services and quickly move into the Established Level.
- If you’re an experienced stylist with little to no clientele, you’ll start at the Part Time Building Level, take a short time to learn Vivid culture, systems, and services, and move up to Full Time Building when you gain some numbers.
- If you’re a new stylist, you’ll start at Part Time Building, we will customize training to your strong points and weak points, making sure you’re fully equipped to handle anything that walks through Vivid’s door!

If this sounds like something that you’d be interested in, please send us your resume and a quick note about who you are and why you’d like to work with us to vividcolumbia@gmail.com!
